Deer on Isla Ixtapa (reply)

When do the deer on Isla Ixtapa shed their antlers? In northern NA it is in the winter but I think in tropical climates it is different, as is the breeding cycle. Does anyone collect the antlers and make art/jewelry from them? Are there deer tours? I ask because northern North American Indigenous called the July full moon the Buck Moon (English translation) as this is when the antlers start to push out of bucks’ heads. Several amigas/amigos and me get together every full moon to paint so I like to gather information.

You'd have to ask don Nacho. https://www.facebook.com/ignacio.maciel.359
