Had another nice rain with strong winds on Friday evening, then Saturday the sun finally came out and the visitors got their money's worth. But right around sunset it started to drizzle a little. Just enough to cool people down, not enough to ruin the beautiful Desfile Orgullo. We really enjoyed what we saw. It was wonderful!

It looks like we may get a break from heavy rains for a few days, but more possibly heavy rains are expected around Wednesday as yet another tropical wave rolls by. So far we've been lucky, but the wind last night was pretty strong and blew things around. I believe at least one tree was blown over in Ixtapa on the road to Playa Linda.

Sunday is futbol/soccer day here and throughout America and Europe, so expect a lot of cheering and yelling. Not a good day for Gringos or Canadians to be asking to watch basketball or curling on local bar TVs. Hope you get in the spirit and enjoy the games. The Olympics are right around the corner and we're going to see another mini World Cup in the near future. This is why the world loves futbol.
