Moral Vacancy (reply)

Correct. We are just brainless deplorables who vote only to support our cult and have no ability to think for ourselves or vote for interests that suit our family, community and businesses.

Yeah you pretty much nailed it.

So if you didn’t vote for the dem candidate who got zero votes in the primaries and was shoved into the race after Biden shit his pants in the debate you’re a moron. What’s joke. Good luck winning over independents with this strategy

The Dems literally voted for Kamala. What a lame excuse you use for voting for someone who tried to overthrow the U.S. government and overturn an election, for a TRAITOR who has sold the USA out to the murderer and war criminal Putin, the Saudi butcher, Xi, and Kim Jong Un. Someone who has already weakened the U.S. military and other important institutions before he's even taken office. Putin is certainly right to be ecstatic to see his useful idiot win the White House. Sonny boy, don't expect respect from any decent human being when you support a traitor, a criminal, a racist, a rapist, and an insurrectionist. Ours isn't a difference of opinion, it's a difference of morals. Just like I have no use for racists, I have no use for anyone who supports the morals you do. Say your piece and move on, because like a cat batting around a half dead bug for mild amusement, I've become bored with you and all the other cult followers. Mexico is not a place where people like you should be.

Surfguy, you're fighting a losing battle. You're trying to deal rationally, without patronizing or insulting, with people who harbor a visceral hatred for Trump. There is nothing you could say or facts you could present that could possibly overcome this hatred. The best thing people can do at this point is take solace in the fact that none of the gloom and doom that they are predicting now actually happened in his first term. In fact inflation was low, unemployment was low, fuel prices were low, the border was more secure and there was no major conflicts or wars around the globe.

None of what you wrote is true or is attributable to the Insurrectionist. He didn't fix anything, including the border, and he's not going to fix anything this time. But thanks for demonstrating that my previous comments were true: not one cult follower comments on the fact they voted for a CRIMINAL, a TRAITOR, a SEXUAL PREDATOR or an INSURRECTIONIST. It isn't hate that people have against him, it's a desire not to have such an immoral incapable untrustworthy irresponsible person in the White House. Last time all he did was enrich himself and try to use the government to take out vengeance against people he didn't like, and that's all he's going to do this time. The fact you all keep ignoring that he's such an obvious threat to the country and to the world only speaks poorly about you and your lack of good judgement. There is no good excuse to have voted for him, but thanks to Fox News, low-information voters, and hateful people, once again innocent people will suffer and die needlessly while he continues enriching himself and spreading his lies and hate. The part of U.S. society that supports him is seriously mentally ill.

Republicans haven't fixed a single problem since Reagan. They trash the economy, the following Democratic administration fixes it, Republicans block any progress then blame the Democrats for the lack of progress, and the cycle repeats. Your cult leader is inheriting one of the best economies ever, if not the best. We already know he and you will give him credit for it instead of where credit is due, but what you don't know is that he's going to trash it again. He's already begun and he hasn't even been sworn in yet, and you'll blame Biden and Obama.

I've got it now, thanks for explaining it. Everything good that happened during the Obama Administration was because of Obama's policies. Everything good that happened during the Trump Administration was because of Obama's policies. Everything bad that happened during the Trump Administration was because of Trump's policies. All the downturns in the economy during the Biden Administration were because of Trump's policies. If the next four years go well it will be because of Biden's policies if not it's Trump's fault.

Being intentionally dense about events and misinterpreting what I wrote doesn't help any argument you're trying to make.

As I'm sure you know the reason illegal immigration is down now is because the Dems read the polls and realized that their open border was wildly unpopular with voters. After claiming for over 3 years that there was nothing the Administration could do to stem the flow they suddenly figured out how to do it just before an election. It' a miracle.

The border was never open. And if RePUKElicans wanted it fixed, it would've been long ago. They didn't fix anything last time. They only made everything worse, which appears to be their policy once again. But the immigration process remains broken in spite of having a lower number of crossings than when the Insurrectionist left office.

There's nothing apparent from the last four years that would indicate that if Harris had won the border would again be thrown wise open.

We'll never know. You voted to put a CRIMINAL, TRAITOR and RAPIST in the White House, and all he wants is to make himself richer, remain in power and to take out revenge against anyone who ever ticked him off. I hope you didn't actually think he cared about anything YOU wanted. I hear there's already capital flight by the wealthy in spite of having an authoritarian oligarchy coming into power. I guess the wealthy don't trust him after all. Almost as if they feared a foreign takeover.

If you think you won some argument, fine with me. I'm happy to let you underscore my previous comments about cult followers.

There's nothing apparent from the last four years that would indicate that if Harris had won the border would again be thrown wise open.

Biden. 3+years 5.2

Your CULT LEADER was part of the reason FOR the WORLDWIDE INFLATION. Certainly not President Biden, who like all Democratic presidents since Reagan, has had to clean up the mess from the previous Republican administration.

Unemployment Trump. 2017 4.4. Unemployment was low under Trump
2018 4.0
2019 4.0
2020 3.6
Anything under 5% is considered full employment .

HA HA HA HA HA! You've got to be kidding! We all know that thanks to President Obama your cult leader inherited a booming economy. Absolutely NOTHING your cult leader did brought down unemployment numbers, but you're welcome to try to name something. And we all know that's NOT the unemployment number President Biden inherited. You're ZERO for TWO.

Illegal border crossings by year: 2017. 310K Illegal immigration was much lower than under Biden.
2018. 404K
2019. 859K
2020. 402K
Biden 2021. 1.7 Million
2022 2.2 Million

You don't even know what those numbers are. They're INTERACTIONS, not crossings. And they're nowhere near that today. I notice you didn't bother with today's numbers. Couldn't you find them on the Fox News website or what? And if your cult leader had allowed the Border Bill to be passed instead of getting spineless Republican politicians to block it, the number could be much lower than what it is now.

Gasoline Prices by year. 2017 2.47 per gallon The price of fuel much lower than under Biden.
2018. 2.36
2019 2.55
2020. 2.19
Biden 2021. 3.30
2022. 3.21
2023 3.13

Ah yes, gas prices today, THAT NO PRESIDENT CONTROLS, are still lower than what they were, no thanks to anything any Republican politician did. Since there was LOW DEMAND during the pandemia (yeah, I know these abstract concepts are difficult for cult followers), prices were low, then the pandemia ended and there was a spike because of HIGH DEMAND at the same time there were WORLDWIDE SUPPLY problems.

Which reminds me to, I suppose, say a small prayer of thanks that, once again, Trump won't be visiting Canada during his term. He didn't come last time: either he doesn't know, or doesn't care that we exist only a few miles north of his old stomping grounds, or "his people" told him he'd receive a very frosty, even hostile, welcome.
This time, we don't have to worry: convicted felons are not permitted entry. Whew!
And Lindsey Graham wouldn't be welcome either. The MAGATS want to impose tariffs on any country that would bar entry to the charming Bibi Netanyahu, after the International Criminal Court has designated him a war criminal. Canada has the nerve to be a member of the ICC. Not surprisingly, both the USA and Israel are not. Graham, that pathetic little imposter to anything "Senatorial" says, about Canada: "We'll crush their economy."

For Christians, it's like they willfully voted for the person who best fits the description of their anti-Christ.

Maybe some are thinking that the anti-Christ must come before the Second Coming, so advancing the anti-Christ is advancing God’s will of the Second Coming.

That type of twisted logic certainly applies to some. They believe that the Second Coming is preceded by the reestablishment of the “historical Israel”.

This requires the acquiring of “Samaria and Judea”, i.e., the West Bank. So full annexation of those lands, along with full Israeli possession of Jerusalem is necessary. Any American politician who advances those is “doing God’s will” and any who do not support the goals are, well, you know…

The part of U.S. society that supports him is seriously mentally ill.

I don’t speak for anyone besides myself (obviously), something that I think would humble you and help your cause, but I personally voted for him because I thought he was more fit for office than Kamala regardless of the names you call him. That’s it. It’s not complicated. Outside of this forum no one cares if you hate him or his appointees, so continue to scream into the void if it brings you peace or conversely listen to your friends and neighbors and let them tell you why they voted for him and try to reach common ground.
