Coconut milk for cooking (reply)

I eventually found it in an Asian foods section near the bakery.

Holy cow! I’ll be putting canned coconut milk on my list of things to bring on my next trip to Zihuatanejo. It was M$88 for a can. I’m accustomed to paying the equivalent of M$21-30 for a can at my other home.

Coconut milk for cooking

When I am not in Mexico, I enjoy making Thai coconut curries. Recently I brought with me Thai curry paste and Thai fish sauce. I was thinking I could use lime leaves from my lime tree and canned coconut milk for making the coconut curries. So far I have been unable to find canned coconut milk.

When I have gone to Soriana and Sam’s Club I have asked for “leche de coco en lata”. I have been met with blank stares. When I have pressed, I have been taken to Calahua sweet coconut cream for making piña coladas and then to the nondairy drinking milk made from coconut.

What I’m looking for is canned coconut milk for cooking. Something like this.

https://mx.iherb.com/pr/thai-kitchen-coconut-milk-unsweetened-13-66-fl-oz-403-ml/133329?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA3Na5BhAZEiwAzrfagGbIctrBkJyL...

Any ideas? If not, I guess I can get it from Amazon.
