(reply) The worst customer service experiences I have had in Zihua have been at the fabric stores. The employees seem to go out of their way to avoid helping a customer with fabric that requires cutting etc. That being said, the fabric stores, one right next to Sams and two others almost across from each other on the same street, Benito Juarez in El Centro are the places to go to look for fabric. They do not seem to stock much in the way of curtain rods but that is the best place to start. There are several persons, male and female, who work in stalls near El Centro sewing for custom orders. You may find some names here on this website.
