Everything I'm reading says either type of residency will do, but it's only 20 days into the new year The dealer will absolutely know. Good luck.

I was golfing with a friend today who told me you now need to be a permanent resident of Mexico in order to purchase new cars. Said it was a new regulation that started the first of the year. Can anyone verify if correct or not?
