Totally understand your wanting to save the LONG trip down and back annually. Before you store, remember that the temps increase here in the summer to the low 90's F. But the big deal is the rain. Our average summer rain is 45 inches, and most years we have a big one, last year 19 inches in just 3 days.

Maybe consider tarping it to help prevent leaks.

RV/Trailer Storage (reply)

There is a place on the old 200 highway, which is the back road to Ixtapa and La Puerta where you can store boats in enclosed (high cement walls)and partly covered building. I believe that they will take a trailer, if they have space. We checked it out many years ago. We had to bang on the door for a while before somebody came. I can't find it by browsing and I don't know the name. I saw it again the other day when I was out that way. It is on the right hand side, a big white cement enclosure that was past La Puerta but before the turn into Ixtapa.
Another person who has a storage yard for cars and would probably take a trailer is out in Coacayul. His office is on the right hand side, near the corner where you turn to go to Playa Blanca, just before the airport. Jonny Cash, 755 120 2137, or 755 688 2627. Speaks perfect English and seems like a very reliable outfit.
