Sea turtle hatchling release today, February 26th Playa Blanca. Carretera Aeropuerto Barra de Potosi lote 32. Two km from international airport towards Barra de Potosi. An important educational presentation is given before the release. Reservations required.

Anyone know if there is a schedule for turtle release for this week?

It's not possible to schedule a turtle release any more than it is to schedule where raindrops fall. They are released as soon as possible after hatching as close to sunset as possible to give them the best chance for survival. Campamento Tortuguero Ayotlcalli on Playa Blanca posted on my Facebook chat page today that they will be releasing turtles at 5:30 this evening.

Only Mother Nature really knows. They are released the same evening that they hatch, and there are very few eggs right now, wrong season. Doesn't mean there won't be one, though....
