Even though today was partially overcast, there were still quite a few people at the beaches. Temperatures were again mild thanks to a light breeze, and no matter what you did or where you were along the coast of Guerrero, the weather was picture-postcard-perfect. Zihuatanejo's bay water temperature has been right around 26°C this Sunday, cool for us, but it didn't seem to bother any of the beachgoers.

Congratulations to Canada for their win over USA for 3rd place this Sunday afternoon in the CONCACAF Nation's League Finals! I know it means a lot to Canadians right now, same as it did for Panama to beat the USA last week. It's not nice to threaten one's friends and neighbors. In a short while tonight Mexico will play Panama for the championship, so expect to see lots of locals huddled around TVs cheering on Mexico's national fútbol team, and if Mexico scores expect shouts of ¡GOOOOOOOOOOL! to ring out across the bay and in the streets.

Whales are still being seen in the area, though in fewer numbers, but it's still a good excuse to charter a boat and go out on the water for a little cruise.
