It felt like the temperature might've dipped below 20°C this Thursday morning. It was a bit nipper and had me under my sheets keeping snug and warm. But as soon as the sun rose over the hills, it warmed up quickly. There's also been a nice breeze almost all day every day now for quite some time. We absolutely enjoy some of the best weather anywhere in the world!

Since the sun is moving northward on our horizon at this time of year, for folks who are on the waterfront early in the mornings in Zihuatanejo, it seems like the sun is rising later as it moves behind Cerro Darío Galeana, the hill between La Madera and La Ropa whose shadow covers much of downtown Zihuatanejo in the mornings. But as soon as it peeks over the hill, the heat is on and things warm up quickly.

We had 3 earthquakes in succession in our region today, just off the coast of Petatlán. A 3.0, a 3.8 and a 5.0 this afternoon during siesta time about 20 minutes before 5PM. Had us on our toes, but I didn't feel anything even though our seismic alarm apps alerted us a few seconds before the shock wave arrived from the 5.0. If you live anywhere along the Costa Grande of Guerrero, you should have the SkyAlert app on your phone.

Though there are fewer visitors from abroad, it seems a fresh batch of extranjeros arrived in recent days including quite a few Gringos and even some folks from South Africa. ¡Bienvenidos todos! We're certainly happy to see you!
