It didn't get quite so cool Sunday night-Monday morning as the previous day, but it was still quite cool, probably 19°C here in downtown Zihuatanejo. It felt good, but it feels even better to have the sun warm my skin on a cool morning.

Waves of around 2 meters continue along the coast of Guerrero, washing high up the beaches and possibly causing some erosion. They've been well over a meter in Zihuatanejo's bay. Good times for surfers at all the favorite spots.

There were very few people on the downtown beach today. The streets were mostly empty, and sales were slow to nil for most downtown shopkeepers. The waterfront restaurants weren't doing much business this evening when we strolled by. Hardly anyone out except a few people fishing at the pier and a few others sitting enjoying our perfect weather. It will only continue getting slower until Semana Santa. But I'll continue enjoying every instant of it with the love of my life whom I met here over 50 years ago. Thanks to her, I have no doubt I must be the luckiest Gringo in Mexico.

This is a beautiful 2-bedroom condo with a terrace at the "Casa Que Ve Al Mar" complex, and it features a fully equipped kitchen, internet access, cable & satellite TV, 24-hour security, and a pool and sundeck right out the front door.
