We enjoyed another day of mild weather this Thursday, still cool enough for sleeping under the sheets at night but not too warm during the day.

Hardly any visitors around today. The downtown beach was mostly empty all day, though there's currently a birthday party with a big group at Casa Arcadia having a wonderful time. There weren't many people at any of the other restaurants along the downtown waterfront or at the pier this Thursday evening, but several charter captains were working late, probably with groups for a sunset cruise. We have noticed there appear to be quite a few middle-class Mexican tourists around. They're the visitors we need most, especially at this time of year. ¡Qué bueno es verlos! ¡Bienvenidos!

The ocean seems to have remained calmer than predicted today. Waves were maybe a meter or so high inside the bay. The water temp is holding around 27°C, so it's still not too cold for locals to swim.

There's a large book fair going on along the downtown waterfront at the Cancha. They'll be here for several days. Come find some good reading material.
