More huge waves this morning. I saw some people playing in the waves at Playa Principal early, but the waves kept getting bigger and eventually everyone got out of the water. They washed up over much of the beach as well as the area at the pier where people hang their fish to pose with them. From Chiapas to Sinaloa 2-to-3 meter waves are expected to continue along the coast through this Sunday.

I was surprised but also relieved on my morning walk along La Boquita Canal to encounter groups of tourists who had arrived by bus. This was before the problem with the parking area near Plaza Kioto had been resolved.

The waterfront was CROWDED this Saturday evening. Lots of visiting and local families having a wonderful time. The only restaurant that was full, however, was La Porteña, as usual. There was a huge basketball league photo event at La Cancha, while the book fair filled up the rest of the area.

Did anyone see the debris lit up and streaking across the sky that appeared to explode over Zihuatanejo this Saturday evening? We were in the middle of hundreds of people at La Cancha when it seemed to explode and shower over the bay. Lots of people saw it. It was also seen and recorded in Vallarta. I've shared several photos and videos taken by others on my Facebook page. It's now being reported that it's more of fElon's space garbage from a launch today. Figgers.
