There's currently an 80% probability of cyclone formation within the next 7 days in front of our coast. Unfortunately, I don't see the municipal government cleaning the trash out of the canal, and it left the sewage water in the canal to evaporate and seep into the bay. Very disappointing. So keep an eye on the local weather, get ready in case of an emergency, and be prepared for the worst.

What's also very disappointing is to see the municipal government harassing and threatening foreigners for taking their dogs to La Ropa Beach before 8 in the morning when no one is there. It's bad enough that we've lost so many tourists and visitors from the U.S. and from Mexico because of the restriction of pets on La Ropa, among other reasons. The Blue Flag program has lost us more visitors than it has attracted. Yet the municipal authorities make the baseless claim that people's pets are a threat to local fauna on the beach. A ludicrous claim to compare the loose dogs at Playa Blanca, that have been known to kill sea turtles, with people's pets who remain under their control and don't even bother a crab. I intend to keep denouncing this harassment and hypocrisy by the municipal government, and I will keep recommending that if they truly want to protect the beach they adopt the Playa Platino program that actually protects the flora and fauna of the beach instead of just simulating doing so with the Blue Flag program that treats visitors like criminals and bans furry family members. With the current incidents of murders and criminality increasing with ZERO response from the municipal government, they need to redirect their energies elsewhere instead of harassing people with pets on the beaches. They certainly don't harass the local folks who walk their pets on Playa La Madera before 8 in the morning, so why just a few foreigners at La Ropa? Prejudice? That's what it looks like to me, and I won't stand for it. O todos coludos o todos rabones.

This Sunday evening many Mexicans are going to be glued to televisions to watch the championship fútbol match between América and Toluca. Expect cries of ¡GOOOOOOOOL! and don't be alarmed at the shouting and cheering.

The view of the sunset over the treetops from their pool is breathtaking, and the peace and quiet will relieve you of any stress. Five comfortable suites with air conditioning, TV, and Wi-Fi access at this LGBTQ-friendly lodging make it somewhat exclusive and definitely enchanting. Mention ZihuaRob's and get a discount.
