Hi Just wondering if there is any update or progress report at the former Hotel Palacios property?

It's being refurbished and upgraded apparently by the owner of the Kau-Kan restaurant. They're losing some of their view by converting the waterfront restaurant into two floors instead of one.

Is the Hotel Palacios still closed? If so, does anyone know whether the property has been sold, and if so, the plans in store for it, if any?

Also, there was a banner advertising a proposed condo across the street from the Palacios last March. I see nothing online about it. Did they ever break ground?

It's my understanding that the property has been sold, and it's currently being restored instead of being torn down and replaced.

The other condos have so far not been built.

Hard to believe nobody has any speculation on this topic. I know who some of the principles are in the Palacios. The general view is its a family dispute that can't be resolved.

There are always two sides to every story, yours and the shithead's.
