Weather reports, webcams and photos don't do Zihuatanejo justice. Today was another one of those BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE! But that might be because I'm married to the local girl after whom our oldest still functioning Catholic church is named. ¡Híjole! Lucky me!

I hope at least some of you enjoyed watching the singing of las serenatas and Las Mañanitas last night at the Basílica de Guadalupe in Tepeyac. One of the most important cultural events of the year for Mexicans.

From the weather forecasts it looks like we'll be taunted by the sight of rain clouds in the sierra for the next few days. Oh boy.
