A little weekend ritual in La Ropa ????

Hi Zihua friends,

Lately I’ve been really trying to slow down and appreciate the small things that make living here so special. Morning walks, palm shade, neighbors saying hello, grabbing a coffee and letting the day unfold without rushing.

One of those little rituals for me has become spending part of the weekend in La Ropa, where a small local market called Las Iguanas Bazaar takes place. It’s a relaxed spot with local artists, makers, food, and people just enjoying the morning under the trees.

Nothing fancy, no pressure — just handmade things, friendly conversations, and that calm Zihua pace we all appreciate.

We’re there Saturdays and Sundays from 9am–3pm, between Casa Tucanes and Hotel Bonito, and it’s always nice to see familiar faces wander in.

I’m curious —
Do you have a favorite weekend routine here in Zihua?
Any spots you like to visit just to slow down and enjoy the day?

Hope to see some of you around.
Laura
