I applaud the enthusiasm. Hopefully, this event is not viewed as a kissing cousin of gentrification in Zih. Kind of ironic to protest on the other side of the border.

Search for "no kings international." There are protests all over the world. Not that the sick, bloated, diapered Orange Mussolini cares one way or the other. He has his private army of goons and plenty of invertebrates in Congress and the Supreme Court. He is set for the rest of his wretched life.

Why I Am Going to the “No Kings” Rally
I am going to the “No Kings” rally because I refuse to be silent while authoritarianism creeps forward. I refuse to normalize abuses of power, attacks on democratic institutions, and leadership that treats the rule of law as optional. Silence is not neutrality. Silence is surrender. And I will not surrender my voice.
I am going because I want our friends, neighbors, and hosts here in Mexico to know — without question — that many Americans reject Trump’s anti-Mexico policies and the harm they cause. Reckless trade disruptions, threats to remittances, economic intimidation, and the chilling effect on tourism are not political games. They destabilize communities. They hurt working families. They strain the deep ties between our countries.
Here in Zihuatanejo and across Guerrero, the consequences are real. Families depend on remittances. Small businesses depend on tourism. Entire communities depend on stable economic relationships. Policies driven by ego and grievance put all of that at risk. I stand against mass deportations and family separations that rip families apart.
I stand in solidarity with those who defend sovereignty, human rights, and dignity — in Mexico, in the United States, and around the world. I stand with President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo in her defense of the Cuban people. I stand with people who believe that no leader is above the law and no nation should bully another for political gain.
I stand with the international 50501 Movement — 50 states, 50 protests, one movement — because democracy does not bow to a king. It does not belong to a strongman. It belongs to the people. And when democratic norms, civil rights, and free speech are threatened, the people must rise peacefully and visibly to defend them.
I stand against authoritarian power grabs: attacks on the justice system, intimidation of political opponents, assaults on the free press, targeting of nonprofits, the militarization of democratic institutions, and policies that endanger our shared future. I stand against the reckless war in Iran. These are moral lines, and they matter.
By gathering here in Mexico, across the United States, and around the world, we send a message that cannot be ignored: we reject fear, we reject cruelty, and we reject “absolute rule.” We will not trade democracy for dominance. We will not trade human dignity for political theater.
This is a Day of Defiance.
In a democracy, power belongs to the people — not to a king. And I am going to stand where I have always belonged: with the people. I ask all peoples , Americans , Mexicans, Canadians to join me in The Plaza Del Artista March 28th at noon.
