Our overnight and morning temperatures are once again quite comfortable with a nice breeze coming out of the sierra. It got down to around 22°C or so last night, and it's expected to do the same tonight. I love our nearly perfect weather. Barely a cloud was visible today, but the breeze kept us comfortable for much of the day.

A reminder that as we go through one of our slowest seasons of the year, it's typically a time when we see an uptick in robberies and break-ins. So if you see people loitering where they usually don't in front of your home or along an empty walkway, be alert. I usually make it a point to let them see me snapping off a photo (or at least pretending to). Guilty people take notice and fidget while innocent people tend not to pay much attention. Of course, I'm always armed and crazy, so there's that.

The beaches and waterfront restaurants in downtown Zihuatanejo were mostly empty today and this evening. It's bad when there more waiters and tour guides meandering along the waterfront looking for customers than there are tourists. Even though there was a basketball game at La Cancha Municipal this evening, apart from the players there was almost no one around. From one end to the other of the Paseo we might've passed 3 dozen people at most not counting city workers. Most of the restaurants were closed, and the ones that were open were either empty or only had one table.

Surf remains light, less than a meter high along the open ocean of our coast. Almost no waves at all inside Zihuatanejo Bay. The ocean remains a comfortable 28°C-to-28.4°C. Men can enter the water without any initial discomfort to their sensitive parts.
