Sunday morning was a little less humid than previous mornings. Managed to stroll to the pier and to the bakery and get back home without breaking into a sweat. It looks like we could get some rain late next week, according to the forecast, but Lupita says it won't rain again until June 1st, Día de la Marina.

Mexicans across the country will be watching and cheering on their favorite team. No matter who wins, there will be folks out celebrating in the streets, especially at the Ángel de la Independencia in Mexico City.

The municipal pier has remained in the dark every evening since the demolition of a perfectly good and useful building at the pier began. No one who relies on the pier for work or who fishes there is happy about this major screw up by the municipal government or with their unnecessary vanity project at the pier.
