How can they look at the muddy walk people have to endure from the pier to payment and think its ok?
Just spread a dump truck load of gravel or Rubbermaid walkway for people to walk on.
It’s not gonna break any bank. Just do it already.
You see the Rubbermaid walkways in other beach places leading down to beaches for carts and wheelchairs.
It’s just the right thing to do to keep people safe with easy access through mud .

By looking at the webcam, the concrete work on the ramp or whatever it is looks uneven.
Maybe the sides and bottom gets covered with dirt or rock. The forms didn’t look up to grade when concrete was poured.

It's a viewing stand so you can sit there and watch tourists pose for photos in front of the letters. The municipal government totally ignores that for people who work at and use the pier daily, having events on the main walkway and requiring people to take an alternate route around the new hill they're building is POOR PLANNING on their part. The architect did a terrible job. Same as they've done with every photo op area the municipal government has set up. They always seem to block the natural flow of pedestrian traffic, except for the one at Playa Las Manzanillas.

Feel sorry for the folks that have to walk and use wheelchairs and walkers across the mud.
Would be nice to have a temporary walkway, gravel or lay down flat plastic walkway from one end to the pier that you see at other sites.
