Long Lining AGAIN

I was told by one of the fishermen that went out that he did see some long liners, though there were not so many as usual out there (as they curtailed their activities during the Torneo) but the fact that they saw any at all should have crumpled their knickers and straightened their hair!! This fishing tournament was a good example .... oh yes, we can blame it on the full moon, and on the water temperature, and who-knows-what-else, but one of my best friends was here all during April and part of March and he fished several times a week, and went out over 50 miles and could not find hardly any fish. This is not just a local problem, of course, but if the seas are being fished out in this type of manner, then we will all be sunk in our future!! Isn't there anyone who can prevent this, or police these people to make sure they are not out there????????
