Yes they are. Odillon (sp?) and Jose are local treasures but they are not getting any younger, so if you want to experience "the real thing" at your next meal along the Malecon, call them over and ask for a tune; if you don't know one let them pick it out for you. Plus they have just made a new CD, please buy it if you get the chance; you won't be sorry because you will always have a piece to the real Zihuatanejo with you when you leave.

I have used Them many times for Parties here in Troncones

They are always on time and Make the Guest's very happy !

Thanks, Brian -- So nice to hear from folks who enjoy my efforts. It's fun for me, for sure. In fact, I am working on a book, one that's about more than Zihua. impressions -- about the whole idea of curiosity, awareness and wonder. As I call it, seeing generously.

I am the lucky s.o.b. who gets to listen for free as musicians play for tourists at the nearby beachfront restaurants and practice in the small plaza across the street from our home! Makes for great siesta music!
