Top Ten excuses why I didn't stop by and say hello. (reply)

You stopped by and didn't say "hola"? What'd I do to cause you to ignore me?

Excuse number 1: I was too busy shopping.

Excuse number 2: It must have been an outward manifestation of an inward insecurity.

Excuse number 3: The dog ate it.

Excuse number 4: A little revolution every now and then is good.

Excuse number 5: I was in a big hurry to go to the SPCA and order t-shirts for the grand kids.

Excuse number 6: I was frightened off by the large padlock.

Excuse number 7: Lupita looked like she wanted me to love her just for herself.

Excuse number 8: I had heard you hadn't had water for a few days and didn't want to embarrass you by bringing my own bottled water.

Excuse number 9: I was with other people and didn't want to appear as if I was showing-off by claiming that I know you.

Excuse number 10: I didn't want to catch you at a bad time.

Luckily, you can never get enough of a good thing! (reply)

Hey, feel free to post this as many times as you wish (or just "bump" it back to the top of the Message Board by adding a new message).

You stopped by and didn't say "hola"? What'd I do to cause you to ignore me?

Lupita's Boutique just got a shipment in the other day of beautiful new hand-embroidered clothing, and she got some new jewelry in the night before last. Finding customers has been rough this year, though, so thank you very much for your support, literally! It's been a squeeker year so far for most of us here. Fortunately for Lupita and me, our happiness is not dependent upon our bank statements.

We were having Internet problems so I went shopping, discovered the Rodrigo y Gabriela CD's for sale to benefit the SPCA, bought one, and came home to find the Internet up and running and Natalia's e-mail. So I did what came naturally. Made a shameless plug. Sorry I didn't see your thread. At least I offered some additional info so I'm not totally redundant.

And speaking of shameless plugs tell your lovely wife, Lupita, that I'm quite excited about purchasing the dress I asked her, yesterday, to keep an eye out for and it's not just a passing fancy so keep that phone number handy.

Support the Zihuatanejo SPCA

I just got the following from the local SPCA and thought I'd pass it along with the additional encouragement that you make trip to Casa Marina and get some of the SPCA t-shirts and/or buy a CD or two donated to benefit the SPCA by Rodrigo y Gabriela the fantastic instrumental guitar duo.

From Natalia Krebbs:

TO ALL OUR SUPPORTERS, COLLABORATORS, TO THOSE WHO MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

In  2010 we helped approximately:

                  * 2000 cats and dogs
* 87 wildlife animals
* We did 880 sterilizations
* We gave 187 pets for adoption

We continue with the same goal:

                 WE WOULD LOVE MORE SPACE...!

Casa Marina is overcrowded! In the nearly three decades since our inception, the demand for our services has grown beyond our current capacity. We have known for some time that if we want to expand our services, we would need a larger facility, a place only for the animals!
We are asking for your support for this!
If you are interested in helping, you can donate with a direct deposit in the SPAZ-HKP bank account in México # 18-8005020 BANAMEX.
Outside of México; include the transfer code (CLABE)
00228200188005020. Or you can donate in our website www.spazihua.org

e-mail: info@spazihua.org

ON BEHALF OF ALL THE ANIMALS FROM ZIHUATANEJO: THANK YOU!

                    ***********************************

A TODOS NUESTROS COLABORADORES, DONADORES , A LOS AMANTES DE ANIMALES:

               En el 2010 ayudamos aproximadamente a:

                *2000 gatos y perros
*87 animales silvestres
*Hicimos 880 esterilizaciones
