Julio's- Day two continued

We met Carol at the pier and oh my gosh, she's sweet. Hi Carol.

We met Julio and his co capitan.

Our ride from Zihua to Ixtapa Island was amazing! Truly. Juilio is an excellent captain and the baño is not all that bad, right Jeff? LOL! We saw 2 whales breach which was unreal. We're just cruising along when all of a sudden Julio jumps up and yells: whale. I have never seen anything like it. My description doesn't do it justice. They were just so close.

The Frickets were also magnificent. The ocean was very choppy but Julio was totally in control. We were on the water about 2.5 hours. I'd do this cruise again in a heartbeat. We brought beer and rum. Kathy, Jeff's SO brought wine. It was a very good time. The sunset on the water was incredible. When I get home I'll post photos.

Julio was gracious and sweet and I'm glad we decided on his cruise. He knows these waters.

We had great company and an amazing view. Couldn't ask for a better evening.

After, we cruised around el centro with Jeff and Kathy and our friends. We stopped by Rob and Lupitas shop and it looks SO much better than the first fire photos. They've done a lot of work.

We ate dinner at Cafe Marina. I like the fact that Joe donates to the humane society. We shared fajitas, pasta, and quesadillas and of course more guacamole and beer. It was a gorgeous night.

This is Z life. I'm loving the early mornings and the early evenings. Long gone are the days of my 20's partying until all hours and I wouldn't trade it for anything. The pace of Zihua is perfect.

TBC........
