We were down mid February. I bought a foam topper at Commercial for 350 pesos I believe. It's located in the aisle with the sheets, on the very top shelf - a bit hard to spot. Did the trick!!

Thank you everybody for taking the time to let me know! I strongly encouraged our guests to come down with us, so I'm relieved to know we can find a solution if the bed is too hard for him. Love this Board, and everyone who takes the time to help others enjoy such a great place!

I know what you mean about those hard beds! We brought down mattress toppers from Costco for the beds in our condo and a number of other owners we know have done the same. Do you know for sure the beds don't already have them? Might be worth a quick email to the owner to confirm.

There are several options to these hard beds. Air mattresses can be bought at La Comer for $250 pesos and up. It depends on the size. There are also roll up mattress like pads. We looked this week for some foam and other than the $100 dollar kind that I saw at Sam's Club before you can find some foam on Jose Morelos down by the Comex store at an upholstery shop.

Coming down for 3 weeks to our favorite place in the world. Another couple is joining us for a week. He sleeps on his side with a sleep apnea mask, and is sensitive to firm mattresses. The condo we're staying at has the typical cement platforms and fairly firm King mattresses......so, I was wondering if anyone knows whether Commercial Mexicana or another place might sell those foam mattress toppers that I've seen back here in the States. Or....does anyone know where I could go purchase a piece of foam if need be? Gracias for any guidance!
