Back in Mich now after 6 weeks there,anyone in Mex complaining about heat usually got punched in face.

It takes a while, but I do get acclimated to the heat and actually learn to enjoy sweating. What I cannot get acclimated to any more is the cold!

Some of us get acclimatized here easier than others. My son never would and right now we have some doubts about Paul. I seem to be ableto make it even in the hottest part, but sometimes need AC in the night.

Regardless of what the temp. says on line, we have a thermometer here on our porch that we go by. You know where we live Jeff, and right now the temp on the porch says 78/26 thereabouts. Sometimes in the late summer and during the rainy season it reads 98 degrees. That is when I require AC to sleep.

It seems to me that most of the time since the new year we have been having great weather.

Tess -- I'm so envious that you've become acclimatized to the heat.
Are those temps you mentioned actual readings at your home? We had no way of reading temps at our place in La Ropa, so in my post I just used the daily hi/lo forecasts on my weather app. Sounds like they might be way off.

LOL this is the cold season! It hasn't been over 86 for a month usually 84 tops and night 64. We get to have sheets over us at night. You don't have to go shopping before 8 in the morning. OMG I must have acclimated.
