Carmesi Reposado is a nice, smooth tequila sold at a very reasonable price( around 210 pesos) but that did very well in blind taste against tequilas selling for hundreds of pesos more. I have only seen it at Merza in Zihua.

Was that actually Sangre de Azteca?
I tried some of that some years back, in BCS and Tulum.
I thought it was among the best I'd had.

Ours is also Amanecer, but we love the Anejo. So smooooooth!

My new one is Amanecer Ranchero resposada. Sweet with a slight vanilla hint. I bought my last two bottles for 270 pesos each. Thanfully they didn't get destroyed in the quake...holy crap another after shock...take care everyone.....
