Not one bit. Last month I caught a shot from my rooftop of the moonrise but it didn't really strike me as a good photo until I came across it a couple of days ago and it took me a while to realize it was my own rooftop. A few nights ago the full moon loomed large as it peeked over the hills near La Ropa in a bright orange haze. At first many folks thought the growing orange light was just another fire until the moon became plainly visible as it cleared the hillside. I used a couple of cameras to try to get The Shot, but only my trusty iPhone 4S came close to capturing a scene worth sharing. The first photo is from the other night. The second from last month. Amazing the difference a month makes!
