Tsunami in Zihuatanejo - Another Viddy (reply)

Here's another video I came across of the tsunami taken from Il Mare restaurant looking out over Playa La Madera. Notice how the waves break over the walkway at one point.

There were three surges that I observed. Folks were nervous as were the birds and the fish in the lagoon. Surprisingly, no "responsible authority" bothered to tell the tourists swimming at the playa principal to get out of the water. Maybe they were unaware of the tsunami, though it was kind of hard not to notice the rise and fall of the water in relation to the beach because since it was low tide it made a pronounced high water mark on the beach. I'd guess the surge height was a little over a half meter. Other than that the waves were mostly small and the ocean and bay appeared calm.
