(reply) I like going to "El Pueblito" to celebrate the evening before Día de la Independencia. "El Grito de Dolores" is what the presidente municipal does at the ayuntamiento, which is where the big party is, but most folks watch the Presidente de la República give el grito at the Palacio Nacional in front of the Zócalo on TV.

One year these guys just rode into El Pueblito on their way to the ayuntamiento, had a tequila, and left (one of them was the mayor of Pátzcuaro).
