The Bay of "Z" is so unique- no other bay like it. Can remember in 1999 when we sailed into the Bay on a Apple Vacation Cruise and how different the Bay was. Never dreamed at that time we would be going back ever year- 1st couple of years for 1 week(not long enough), then 2, then 3(2 times a year with 2 at Ixtapa and 1 in "Z" and now 4 weeks 1 time of year- January can not come soon enough. Seeing your pictures reminds us of why we love the area so much. My back ground picture on my cell phone was taken from the Grand looking across the bay toward LaRopa. We can not be there but can enjoy the pictures and videos that you and everyone else puts on the Board to view- thanks everyone.

Despite the fact I do not comment normally, I so appreciate your photos, videos, message board and town. On my first visit I stopped by Lupita's store for information and she was so nice and informative and on several visits since she has always reflected what is so unique and special about Zihutanejjo. I like to be low profile and observe. I have given trips to Zihuatanejo as gifts it is so special. I share your pictures with friends which has caused many to come to Zihuatanejo. To date the account I am aware of includes 10 people who have come to Z due to your pictures and my stories. One of those 10 have visited 5 times and will make their sixth trip in Jan. Two have made 3 trips over the years. Happy belated anniversary and thank you for sharing "your Zihuatanejo" with us.

Rob, please don't feel that no one appreciates all your beautiful posts, just because we don't comment on every one, every day. I LOVE every picture that you post of my second home town. I just get lazy about signing in, in order to comment. A belated happy anniversary to you and Lupita, and please keep the pictures coming until we can get there in February.

My biggest problem right now is which one to make my screensaver.

Absolutely gorgeous scenes, which I truly love seeing on many of my sunrise walks into town.
Still 5 months until I'll be seeing the like again, so please keep posting all the pics you can in order to do your part in keeping hope alive up here.

Last night while my sweetie and I were enjoying a moment of peaceful reflection in front of the bay at Casa Arcadia on our downtown beach Playa Principal, we were treated to an extremely romantic serenade by our favorite duo Los Hermanos Morelos. This song just left us both unable to do much more than sigh in ecstasy. HUGE THANKS to Los Hermanos Morelos and the wonderful people at Casa Arcadia for making many moments in our life so wonderfully unforgettable! ¡Muchas gracias! This is what Zihuatanejo is ALL ABOUT!

And this morning as we walked towards the pier greeting friends and neighbors our jaws dropped as we rounded the turn by the Apostadero Naval and looked towards the beach and saw THIS! Simply WOW!
