It is walkable from La Ropa but it is a fairly long walk as you need to crest a big hill that separates La Ropa from la Madera and Principal. The market is at its best in the early morning between 06:30 and 8am so it might be easier to cab it there and walk back. It is worth seeing and it really is a hive of activity. It's located at the far end of Playa Principal which is the main hub of the local fishing boats. Every morning the boats come in after fishing all night and display their catch to people looking to buy the freshest fish.

Enjoy
Ward

This little fishy went to market...

This morning, after my prerequsite sunrise stroll, I headed to the fish market to take some photos that show the hustle and bustle that represents this amazing place every day. People buzzing about checking out the various fish and gradually going home with buckets and bags of fish. To try to capture the feel of people just constantly moving I used a tripod and a long exposure to keep the fish sharp and allow the people to blur as they moved. It's artsy I know, but I hope you like them.
