We definitely will try this and for those who love steak, I had the best rib eye at Bandidos and got to hear the most fabulous singer down here Michelle Lavallee. The place was rocking last night. She was awesome and the steak was outstanding.

When posting the comments on new and existing restaurants it would be nice to see a photo. We go to zihua a lot but just wander and end up in our favorites like Lety's and can,t remember the names of new places that are posted all the time. We have been to so many good restaurantS that we never have time to go to all of them.56 days and counting.

Went there tonight and had the rib eye. Good sized piece trimmed of fat as I requested and cooked by the wife of the owner. He cooks outside for the flambe (sp) and she inside for the rest. It was like eating at their home and delicious. Most attentive and hospitable place in Zhia so far. Would highly recommend for pasta, meat, fish or LOBSTER. He had three on ice that looked scrumptious. May go back soon for lobster.

Tomorrow night will try Aguave again- they must have to be open on Saturday night!

Sounds good to me. Will have to try it when we get there. If it's good, it deserves a return visit. If not we don't give restaurants a second chance. Sorry….

Judging by their graphic/logo, which is a handshake , I would assume that in this case it means truce.

We had dinner in a new place, 'LA Tregua' on Augustin Ramirez, catacorner to Don Memo's. The menu is not yet set, but we heard that night's specials from the owner. I had a very decent ribeye (tender enough that the lack of a steak knife was no problem) while my wife opted for garlic shrimp flambe. The shrimp was cooked tableside to the apparent delight of diners in the place across the street. The recipe for the shrimp was a bit complicated and there was a lot on the plate, but my wife polished off every bit of it, as I did to my steak. I should mention that my wife had two peach daiquiris, each of which contained a whole peeled and pitted peach (and a serious amount of rum). We'll be going back soon, and it would be nice to see the place catch on and survive for future vacations. Prices were kind of middle of the road for this area, and our dinner came to $340 before tip.
