Nardos' Restaurant - Calle Adelita (reply)

Had dinner at Nardo's last night after failing to find Chendo's. Nardo's moved to the old Salvador's location and Salvador's moved to Chendo's? Is that right? Has Chendo's closed permanently? Say it isn't so.

Galenana's ar V. Guerrero & J. Alverez (reply)

I too had a good dinner meal last night at Galeana's- a piece of Dorado with the chef/owner's own sauce recipe, small salad and rice with the usually presented aperitif of "fresh" Salsa. 80 pesos for a small but tasty meal at a more than reasonable price. Galeana's at Vicente Guerrero and Juan N. Alverez. That's the street that goes by the Town Square about 2 blocks ESE towards the canal on your left- just around the corner from Lupita's shop. There is a coffee shop right next door. They have just opened and are doing a good job and probably could use a few more customers to help the opening phase for their business.

As well, I wanted a small meal a few nights ago, a bowl of soup tortilla or Azteca with pan (bread), and it was not on the menu; but, they came up with it anyway (60 pesos)- Delicious! Ask and they will probably whip something up for you even if it is not on the regular menu. Provecho
