Thanks dhunsber. I'm a gonna miss this place all too soon. As a photographer I need to take this energy back home to my turf. it's so funny how much easier it seems to be creative when everything is new. Now I have to put the same dedication into (sad pitiful looking eyes) winter imagery in the Rockies. And hey if anyone comes to my neck of the woods drop me a line.

Great work Ward. Cheer up amigo. At least it is some of the best winter scenery this planet has to offer. And Canmore is smack dab in the middle of it.

Thanks Will. It was my 100-400 zoom - with quite a crop added in. I took it more just for an ID shot but after a few minutes in post it turned out really nice. I hope your event went well last night. We took your advice and headed home before dark. Troncones was very nice. We might spend a bit more time there next trip.

we've had regular visitations from a Cinnamon Hummingbird over the past few weeks. You can't miss their loud buzzing sound but actually finding them with your eyes once they perch is an exercise in frustration. Here he was as he sat in a tree near our patio.

Hey Will, can you confirm my ID? This is a new bird for me.
