The concerts at Unidad Deportivo are for profit ventures, not celebrations or private parties. For the past 9 months or so the noise level has been kept down to a relatively tolerable level. The one on Thursday was excessively loud. Last night there was also a concert across from la Cancha de Soliaridad. It didn't start until after midnight and went on until after 4am. YOU try living, and sleeping, when the noise level gets this bad!

If this wasn't coming from Loot, I sincerely apologize. We understand that this is Mexico and there will be noise BUT this noise woke us up at 2:00 am and didn't stop until after 4:00 am. And it was loud. Even the locals here complained about it and thought it was terrible.

As someone here once said, when Canadians and Americans hear loud music, they complain. When a Mexican hears loud music, he says "where's the party?"

Loot is at the bottom of the hill just past the dolphin fountain. Nice, classy place for morning cappuccino, but have not visited at night. If the music was indeed coming from there, you should talk with the owner/builder Andres Saveeda, who seems like a very nice guy and terrific architect. He's often there in the mornings. He may not have been aware that it was bothering the neighbors. BTW, we did not hear a thing…..from Atlanta.

Yep, sometimes, not always, when your neighbours invite you to one
of their parties it means that it is going to be loud and long. So
basically they are giving you the choice of staying home and complain
or, join them and enjoy the music(noise)...

If this was a daily occurrence I would be concerned. If it happened once, maybe it was a celebration and you just have to let it go or maybe join in on the celebration.

Probably the concert at Unidad Deportivo. It was REALLY loud and went on until the wee hours (well past 2am). Guess the "noise police" aren't on the job anymore. It was just as bad, if not worse, than the concerts at the Salinas. What I don't understand is why it has to be so loud. If I can hear the words and the tuba and thumping bass from miles away, they certainly can hear it where the concert is located. To be quite honest, I am very disappointed that this noise level is being allowed again. Noise had gotten down to a much more civilized level even with the public concerts. But I guess that Ecologia just isn't doing it's job anymore.
