We know the materials for medical care, stitches, casts etc all not evenly distributed in Mexico.
While attending University our son in law worked at a hospital in Mexico City and had to distribute the materials according to what the patient could pay.
So sad , so cruel, so dangerous.

I believe that the clinic is in front of "Fibazi" not in front of "Capaz".

I am sorry to hear of your son's problem, but very happy that you have had good care. Dr. Caesar has been our Godson's doctor since he was born. Good man.

Several days ago my son, who will be 3 in April, broke his upper leg ( femur bone ). It was completely broken. My wife and I both have medical coverage ( IMMS ) through our work. We took our son to IMMS first to get X-Rays. That's when we learned of the broken femur. Over the next 1 day and half, we were waiting , while my son was admited to the hospital, about what was going to happen. After a couples Doctors opinion, they had said they were going to put a cast on him. We were told they didn't have " the good material" to do the job and that if we wanted to purchase the better material, we can do so, and they would be able to put the cast on the next day.
My sons leg was so swollen. Seeing the X-ray, my gut feeling told me that more needed to be done. We knew we had to get him out of the IMMS, and not wait until the next day, as they were suggesting. I knew we would be better In a private private clinic. My wife called her friend and she recommended Clinica Mediciel in Zihuatanejo. She contacted Dr. Caesar first and he told my wife that we needed to come to his Clinic immediately, which we did. Just so happens there was a Bone Specialist, Dr. Celso Montiel, who comes to Zihuatanejo often from Guadalajara, but was still in town, ( actually en route to the airport to fly back to Guadalajara ) Dr. Caesar contacted him and told him about my son. Dr. Montiel cancelled his flight and immediately came to Clinica Mediciel. After seeing the X-Rays, he said my son needed an operation immediately.
His fist option was going to try to set the bone back into place, if that was not possible, then they were going to have to insert a medical plate and screws in his leg. Within 2 hours my son was ready to go into surgery, first having to be put under Anastasia.
His leg was so swollen, it was very difficult for them to stretch the leg and set the bone. They ended performing a 3 hour operation and inserting the medical plate and screws. This was a successful operation. He is now in recovery here. The aftercare is so wonderful. He is being kept for 2 nights for observation.
I thank Clinica Mediciel, Dr. Caesar , Dr. Montiel, and all of the friendly staff here for helping my son. As they told me, they saved his leg from having to be amputated. I highly recommend this Clinic. It is in front of Capaz in Zihuatanejo. They provide all kinds of services here. I will never use the IMMS in my life.
