WHAT? Wasn't the FBI, and it is now operated by La Gula. No connection to the previous owners. It is a fine place to dine in my opinion! We had a very nice meal there a couple of weeks ago.

We stopped in at Coco Bahia after doing the Picante Sunset Cruise last March.
We had some wonderful drinks and great small plates.
It's a marvelous little place.

Several nights ago we went to Casa Bahia. Average at best. Upon leaving we check out "Coco Bahia" across the street and decided to give it a try a few nights later. Well our group of 8 arrived and were promptly seated at a table with a great view of the bay. After looking at the menu, my wife and I had trouble deciding on what to order, so we decided to each order something different and spilt. We both agree on a Calamari appetizer and started with that. Then I had the coconut shrimp while my wife ordered shrimp quesadillas. Both were excellent. Also tasted someone's tuna and another's pasta futti de mare. All were excellent and now it's going to be tough to decide when we make a return visit. Prices are reasonable and the service by Jesus was great.
