Round pier structure (reply)

I noticed in your photo, the round pier structure. How long has that been there?

It's part of the Paseo del Pescador and it's been there since the Paseo was refurbished during the municipal administration of Amador Campos around 12 years ago.

It is a darn shame to see so much new construction go up on the edge of a cliff and block the beautiful view. Even worse when they are allowed to go up and block the view of a long-time business or home of a family that has lived there for many years. I just don't get how it's allowed to happen. There are many vacant buildings/properties that should be repaired/completed instead. What's up with that? Besides money talks.

I had the best whole fish red snapper at Kau-Kan ever. They deboned the fish for the wifes for there was something about having the head on the fish as they ate it. It was as a shame of the building going up in front and now you have to go to the top for the view- did the construction affect their customers. Kau-Kan is one of our favorite up-scale restaurants in "Z".

Z Magic of Kau-Kan

Don Ricardo of the Kau-Kan Restaurant once again worked his magic and last night made my family feel like the most privileged people in the world with his fine attention to detail, his culinary expertise, and the warm and professional service of his staff. Nothing that we partook of was anything less than excellent, and we overindulged in everything. I have never had anything less than a superb experience there. Thank you once again, amigo Don Ricardo, for another magical evening!

And the waves from Hurricane Blanca made for a surreal almost hypnotic background sound effect (or maybe it was the mojitos and the champagne).
