Breaking Z Day

Even after a brief light evening rain, the heat of La Canícula persists. And of course we had to run out of water today (as did most of our neighbors) since the city's paramunicipal water company, the grossly misnamed CAPAZ, has been completely unable to provide a reliable supply of water. So after the 20 minutes or so that my wife and I spent on the roof refilling our tinacos from the water tanker pipa I was thoroughly drenched and ready to jump into one of our tinacos.

This morning before the sun broke over the hills we were treated to a beautiful light show as clouds lit up across the sky. I did my best to capture the moment with my trusty iPhone. I hope you like it.
