Just looking at a map of the Ixtapa/Playa Linda area and noticed five beaches we've never visited, four located between Ixtapa and Playa Linda: Playas Don Juan, San Juan de Dios, Don Rodrigo and Cuatas, and the other just south of Playa El Palmar, called Playa Vista Hermosa.
We enjoy going to Playa Quieta every now and then for a change, but how about those other five beaches? Are they accessible to the great unwashed, or fenced-off for the exclusive use of the AI crowd?

Nope, those beaches have all been essentially privatized with no public access. And at least one has actually put structures in the water to prevent access by boat, a definite legal no-no. But laws in Guerrero are like they don't even exist. Especially regarding vacation homes for the lawmakers and their influential pals
