Several of John's Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo friends were in attendance including some who came from as far away as the East Coast.
Among the Celebrates was John's first girlfriend who was in the first grade when she received her first kiss from the older John (he of the second grade) some 65 years ago.
Friends from Grade, High School along with fraternity brothers from UC Berkeley gathered with wonderful tales of our friend. In addition a number of other friends John made in his long, productive life where in attendance.
