Another wave of Covid-19 cases is hitting much of Mexico and apparently we are no exception. We've had less than ten cases locally for weeks, now all of a sudden we have 26 active cases currently reported. Need to get folks vaccinated.

What a thunderstorm last night! Lightning was striking all around for quite some time. The power even went off briefly in our part of town. Had us all desvelados until about 1:00 AM. The beach was covered in plastic and other debris in the morning. Nasty that this continues happening after every single rain.

Midday at the pier. Everyone walks through a silly door frame at the pier during the daytime where they're supposed to make sure we're all wearing a facemask. Here's a Policía Turística filming me filming him.

Here's Raulito celebrating his eighth birthday not long before his leukemia was discovered. Today wasn't a great day for him, though he did get one of his tubes removed. The doctor says one of his kidneys isn't functioning well, and his body is tired after fighting for so long, though his spirit is still strong.
