Guerrero's health officials confirm 15 currently active cases of Covid-19 in Zihuatanejo, 2 in Atoyac, 1 in Coyuca de Benítez, 228 in Acapulco, and 301 in the entire state. Please remember to use health protocols in enclosed areas around other people. If you have any symptoms of the flu or cold, please stay home.

Thursday night was a bit nipper. Had to turn the fan down and cuddle with my sweetie under the bed sheet.

Bait fish continue to be plentiful in the bay. The birds are eating well, and the fishermen seem to have little trouble getting the bait they need. I haven't seen any dolphins or whales in the bay, but dolphins are almost always in the area and often ride the bow wake on boats heading out to fish. And there continue to be numerous whale sightings.

The tides have been extremely low recently. If they've also been extremely high we haven't noticed it. Maybe it's just because of the times we take our strolls.

Saw droves of tourists arriving this morning by bus. They tend to carry everything with them and wait for the water taxis to start running to Las Gatas and La Isla. Those with pets get turned away, and those with coolers often get a lot of their stuff confiscated. It's no way to treat tourists.

[image]Some people who DO know how to treat our visitors are the folks at Casa Ki on the beach in Troncones. They offer the most beautiful bungalows and a very lovely home for rent. This is the kind of place that gets you hooked and makes you want to keep coming back for more!

Another dreamlike morning in Zihuatanejo. The bay has been extremely calm lately.
