I've unfortunately had to say goodbye to alcohol for health reasons, so there's probably a surplus of beer in Zihuatanejo now.

I've unfortunately had to say goodbye to alcohol for health reasons, so there's probably a surplus of beer in Zihuatanejo now.
No one likes to hear this but there is no level of alcohol that is safe in the human body. The much-touted study that said a few drinks a week actually extended lifespan was fatally flawed. It turns out they didn't tease out those who abstained entirely from alcohol because they had been told if they didn't stop drinking, they were danger of liver failure and other severe health consequences.
Is it better to drink a little alcohol than none at all?

Always fascinated me that one can go into any grocery or liquor store and buy a lethal quantity of booze, no questions asked, yet cannabis is the one that's supposedly so dangerous.
