La Ropa Bus Stops

I have seen a map of the route of the La Ropa bus/van but can't find a map of the stops. Someone told me they will stop if you wave, if there are no police around. I am looking at property in the area and it would be convenient if it was close to a bus stop. I have seen one bus stop at the far end of La Ropa Beach. And I have seen them climbing the hill beyond that. I know about the link to the Playa Linda bus. Do they stop at the major hotels?

The combi's are very accommodating. Assuming the stretch of road is safe, they will stop for you. There is one stretch along the canal from El Centro to Plaza Kioto that they will definitely not stop and with good reason. It simply isn't safe. However, on all the other part of the combi route from El Centro to La Ropa, they have always stopped for me.

Once you are past Kioto Circle, they will stop where ever you wave your arm. In town they are controlled. At the end of la Ropa, they turn right and stop at the end at the beach. They do go up the mountain on a schedule, more or less, so they can get the workers to and from their jobs at the top of the hill. That is something you will have to ask about.

No Spanish? Work with them and others on the combi.

Thank you. This is a perfect answer. I do speak some Spanish, so I am able to get by.
