Have been told at hotel that this is no longer offered. Is this due to closure , safety issues or just our hotel? Most appropriated!

We went with our paddle buddy in December, had a better tour than in the past, were charged a very reasonable amount and had a great time.

Yes, almost 3 degrees but the worst texting abilities..ha! Just need to know if there are tours still offered for the xihuacan archaeology site presently as have family that would love it. I went last year. Recommendations appreciated!

Not sure if he is still giving tours, but the husband of the owner of Las Adelitas restaurant in La Ropa used to give tours to the ruins. My apologies as I forget his name. (Guillermo?) This was 2016. As you mentioned, it is certainly a worthwhile expedition. Bring your mosquito repellent!

He is based in Las Adelitas restaurant on la Ropa, and is married to the chef, Maria. Great English.

I'm curious who at what hotel would tell you such a thing. Guides continue taking visitors to La Chole. It remains open to the public. There's going to be an event there this Sunday for mountain bikers.
