Health officials for Guerrero confirm 5 currently active cases of Covid-19 in Zihuatanejo, 1 in Petatlán, 1 in Atoyac, 62 in Acapulco, and 153 in the entire state.

Local media were talking nice this Thursday about all our foreign visitors. It's really good to see that you're appreciated. If only the local and federal governments would quit imposing bad policies and rules that make you feel unwelcome or otherwise drive you away.

The coastal water remains around 27°C. Reports of patches of red tide-like conditions are being made all up and down the coast of Guerrero. Let's hope it stays light and doesn't kill any fish. The water still looks nice in the bay.

[image]It's the final few days of the official whale watching season. I wholeheartedly recommend chartering a nice boat, perhaps with some new friends, and getting out on the water to see them while they're still in the area in abundance. Zihuatanejo Ixtapa Charters has the nicest charter yachts available in the region at your disposal.

The end of yet another perfect day. Looked like it wanted to rain.
