As of today, since April 18, 2020 Zihuatanejo has registered a cumulative total of 2,284 confirmed cases of Covid-19 (same as yesterday), 187 that have resulted in fatalities, 41 that are currently active, and approximately 1,910 that have recovered.

It's been a week since the over-60 crowd was vaccinated in Zihuatanejo. If the event was a "super-spreader" we should know within the next couple of weeks. Still not seeing any spike from the Semana Santa vacation period.

The Covid-19 vaccination process in La Unión is being extended an additional day through April 19. People seeking first and second doses may attend.

What a delicious cool breeze we've been enjoying the past couple of days. Did I mention our perfect weather? Waves are still a bit high in the bay, but less than they were yesterday.

No reason the two tall palm trees that were previously in front of the museum couldn't have been left there, as well as the 6 Washingtonia and several other palms they cut down for no viable reason whatsoever. Very disrespectful of the city government to have cut them down.
